I feel like I am going crazy at times ...

good evening , .

i feel like i am going crazy - it’s so hard not being able to talk to the ones i love about how i really feel - meaning the “ truth “ is a big lie and a big waste of time.

it’s so weird - i can’t talk to my wife , or kids about how i really feel and it’s causing me probalms that i recognize.

You are still at home, head of the house (per WT rules). Use it to your advantage.

Teach your children science and logic. Plan trips to natural history museums. Los Angeles has one full of dinosaurs. LaBrea Tar Pits too. There is one in Alberta, Canada also. (Don't know where you live).

Get them interested in astronomy. How many light years planets are away from earth. Tell them the people who have computed the answers have studied for years in their field.

Earth sciences, the study of tree rings, geology and studying rocks and learning how they were made and the forces behind that from events that happened thousands of years ago. Mexico and New Mexico have wonderous caves full of exotic formations and crystals. Can you look at available videos of volcanoes and caves and anything of special interest to them and you watch them all together?

Physics is fun. Help them learn.

You can teach them science and math while cooking and baking (and eating the results) while all together in the kitchen.

Make your precious time with your children something enjoyable, that they will treasure in their future when they think of you.

Win your family through love and kindness.

Be gentle with them. You picked their mother. You both picked the same religion. They picked neither. They are stuck in the middle.

i've been out almost 2 years now and consider myself wide awake to watchtower propaganda and well on my way to recovery from the mental abuse we've all experienced.. one thing that just will not go is that i constantly think of jwism and watchtower and get myself all annoyed at their lies and blatant twisting of facts in their broadcasts and magazines.

it's so bad that it's the first thing i think of when i wake up, then i have these mental arguments in my head proving the jw teachings false and then getting annoyed because no jw will listen even if you tried to tell them.

i call this constant thinking and mental reasoning and mental arguing "mindchatter".

Now, the MSU women Rowers have come forward with their alligations against him. He was their doctor from 1998 to 2016. Eighteen (18) years.

Some in authority at MSU continued for years to cover up abuse so as not to tarnish the "good" name of their school, also they wanted to keep their job and paychecks coming without any care for their students welfare.

WT / JW..org does the exact same thing! Trying to preserve the "good" name of their manmade up religion because they like living at their lakeside estate, and never worry about "working" in the real world. They have no regard for anyone but themselves!

New Loophole Created: You can cheat on your spouse without him/her being able to divorce you

the new "pillowgate" video exposed a loophole in the witnesses´s thinking, showing how dangerous and stupid legalism is.. this loophole is sure to destroy many people´s lives.. 1) they said that two men masturbating at the same time in front of each other does not constitute "porneia".. 2) "porneia" is the only biblical reason for divorce.. 3) from 1) we can also get two women masturbating in front of each other, or a man and a woman masturbating in front of each other, does not constitute "porneia".4) most people would consider masturbating at the same time with another person to be cheating, and a logical reason for divorce.. so this will lead to many witnesses going to the elders and being told that they cannot divorce this person who clearly cheated on them.

then, if this person (the "innocent mate") divorces and marries someone else, then that person would be the one possibly disfellowshipped!the implications of the loophole are so stupid and so damaging!i predict another flip-flop.

"considering things more closely, this is "porneia"... or doubling down on it ("sorry but that is what the biblical limits are") or just fading away into those things that only 1% of jw´s know it´s a rule....

Enslaving them to work for free is not enough for these slave drivers? They have to micromanage how they sleep and if they wake up with a wet dream it is their fault??? @Bobby. This Pillow talk OP was placed in the jokes and humor section. Like Orphan Crow said..."Is your funny bone broke?". Or, are you one of those sanitized JW's I see in the videos, the ones who look like they not only left their brains at the door but also their manhood. Why would you allow someone else to manage everything you did 24/7? Why?

This is my story

i've already posted in this forum but i haven't told you my story.

nowadays i'm a pimo in my late 20s from spain.. i was born in the cult and i can say that during my whole childhood and most of my teenage years i believed in this.

however, i felt that here was something wrong with me, as i wasn't comfortable telling people i was jw, talking about jw stuff, nor did i feel "excited" and "grateful" whenever a watchtower publication told me that i should.

Who knows but that with your leaving the lies of WT, your mom might wake up too. I was devoted for too many decades until my daughter gently and kindly said, "Mom, I think you need to read this". This was a copy of Crisis of Conscience by Ray Franz. As her mother, I felt I needed to know what she had read, seeing that this was a book not just frowned upon but forbidden by WT. I started reading on my computer at 5PM. After reading through the night, I was out of WT by 5AM the next morning.

What to Do....Please Help. Awakening JW for a very long time

i have been having doubts for many years and as most jw's i have certainly not done myself a favor by suppressing all of my critical thinking.

i am married with 3 kids and my wife and i are inactive, but my wife has made it very clear in speech and action that she wants to go to all meetings, field service, and indoctrinate our kids.
